The rocking horse is the ultimate traditional wooden toy. A good quality rocking horse will last for generations and be a family friend.
Unfortunately the cost of a rocking horse is relatively high. There are two main reasons for this:-
(a) The amount of time required to manually make the horse and stand etc. (Typically it takes 50 hrs to carve a horse)
(b) The use of high quality fittings , which I feel greatly enhances the finished product.
Currently I can provide two versions of rocking horses:-
SMALL ROCKING HORSE
This design has a body 18 inches (457mm) long about the smallest size which can be ridden as a pure rocking horse . Will suit children up to 5 years old or so.

MEDIUM ROCKING HORSE
Considerably bigger than the small horse. Will suit rider up to the age of eight or more.(it will easily take an adult's weight). This is the most popular size.

All my rocking horses are made from premiun quality materials and are fitted with a delux accessory kit which includes:- Real leather saddlery
- Real horse hair for mane and tail
- Solid brass fittings
The choice of colour of the horse and saddlery depends entirely on the customer's requirements.
